Senior Meals

The Senior Meal Service provides a hot, nutritious lunch meal to homebound senior citizens five days per week to supplement their nutritional needs.

Meals are served through home-delivery. Daily contact with Agency staff provides opportunity for monitoring general health and wellness status of those served.

Priority is given to those age 60 and over; however, certain disabled and homebound individuals may be served regardless of age.

The following items are required to verify eligibility:

• Verification of Social Security Numbers for all household members
• Verification of all income coming into the household (all members age 18 or older) for the past 30 days
• Verification of the need for the service (health condition, ability to prepare meals, etc.)
• Additional items as requested
