Preservation and repair services are offered as a complement to weatherization services.  The purpose of rehabilitation is to preserve existing housing by removing or repairing substandard conditions.  This includes upgrades to the structural integrity of homes and can also include upgrades to improve interior and exterior accessibility such as widening of doorways.

Wheel chair ramps, protective handrails, grab bars, and other structural related personal mobility aids for improved accessibility can also be installed in some instances.

Clients must meet eligibility guidelines as prescribed by the particular funding source.  Priority is given to elderly handicapped homeowners.
