Going for the Green Golf Tournament Champions

The eleventh annual·Going for the Green Golf Tournament to benefit the CAC Youth Enrichment Summit (YES!) summer day camps was held Friday, May 3, at the Sunset Country Club in Moultrie. Rain was in the weather forecast, but it turned out to be a rain-free fun day for golf. The team entered by Boys and Girls Club of Moultrie-Colquitt County was the tournament champion with the team entered by Mobley Greenhouses taking second place and Colquitt County Sheriff Rod Howell's team placing third. The recent growth report for children served by the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council Head Start Program during the 2018-2019 school year indicates that children are making significant progress among the six domains of measurement. Children are assessed in the fall, winter, and spring of the school year.
