Emergency Services

Emergency services are provided to assist those who have experienced a loss of income or unexpected expense beyond their control with payment of rent, mortgage, utility bills, deposits, food, and provision of shelter to prevent cut-offs, minimize malnutrition, and circumvent incidences of eviction and homelessness.  Individuals are required to document all income and expenses for the household and demonstrate the ability to pay all future household bills without assistance.

The following items are required to verify eligibility:

  • Verification of Social Security Numbers (cards) for all household members
  • Verification of all income coming into the household (all members age 18 or older) for the past 30 days
  • Current statements for services requested (utility, rent, and/or mortgage)
  • Additional items as requested

Other services are offered to assist those who are homeless in obtaining and maintaining stable housing.
