Without your help, we would be unable to meet the many needs in
our community. Our traditional funding sources have limited resources as
well. It becomes more and more critical that we prioritize these resources
to meet the most pressing needs of our clients. Sadly, we are forced to
turn many clients away. Below is a list of items we believe would enable
us to better serve those in need in our community. We hope that you will
become a partner with us and will consider contributing to our cause.
SWGACAC, INC. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation; your
contributions are tax deductible.
How You Can Help . . .
As you may already know, SWGACAC recently purchased the
former Market Square Shopping Center located along First Avenue SE in Moultrie.
We have plans to renovate the complex to serve as the new location for our
Agency Headquarters. We have simply outgrown our current headquarters
facility, and the new location will provide greater visibility and improved
service delivery, as well as bring to life this prominent area of downtown
Moultrie.
Why This Project Is Top Priority On Our Wish List . . .
We must raise funds to complete the planned renovations.
We are seeking capital improvement funds in the amount of $1 million to
transform this valuable property from a shopping center into the professional
headquarters of the future for our Agency.
We ask you to donate generously. No donation is too small or too large.
Please make
checks payable to SWGACAC, INC. and mail to P.O. Box 3728,
Moultrie, GA 31776. CAC is a private, non-profit organization with
501(C)(3) status; hence, your contribution is tax deductible.
If you have questions regarding the renovation project, please contact Myrtis
Mulkey-Ndawula, Chief Executive Officer, using the contact information at the
bottom of this page.
Financial Contributions
Because we cannot predict when disaster will strike and because
the wheels of government turn slowly, it is critical that someone (SWGACAC and
the Red Cross) be on the ground quickly to meet the most basic needs of the
victims. In the recent past, SWGACAC has assisted by providing basic
necessities such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene items for victims of tornados and floods. We were
able to do this within the first 24 hours in many cases. We are also able
to assist families when they lose their home in a fire. We assist families
that cannot pay their rent or utilities because the bread winner in the family
is unable to work due to illness or layoff. We need funding to provide a
"Summer Camp" for a minimum of 100 underprivileged children ages 8 to 11 each
year. The list goes on . . .
If you would like to make a financial contribution, please make
the check payable to SWGACAC, INC. Mail the check to SWGACAC, P.O. Box
3728, Moultrie, GA 31776.
